Tasting note:

Making dry rose from black grapes is a Cloof speciality. The base of this wine is juice from large Cinsaut berries, which is taken directly to tank after pressing, and fermented like white wine. To this we add similarly fermented juice drawn from fully ripe Shiraz after about five hours.

The final blend of Cinsaut, Pinotage andShiraz is a dry, refreshing wine with just the right degree of berry flavours, achieving the perfect balance between complexity and frivolity. It.s a wine we love as an aperitif, with lunch, or at the end of a hot, dusty summer.s day.
